Yesterday, I gave Caitlin a WHOLE nectarine for the first time. I gave it to her knowing it was pretty ripe and would be incredibly juicy. I just really wanted to see what she'd do with it....and to my surprise, the skin seemed like her favorite part! Once she ate that, she began squeezing the nectarine and then eating what was left on her hand. Pretty amusing to watch I must say. And, true to form, she was covered in sticky nectarine juice!

Looks like she really enjoyed herself... I always laugh when I see her organizing her lunch into those neat little compartments... reminds me of someone else I know. :-)
