and the results are.....

I will be teaching 6th grade at South Bay School in south Eureka starting October 10!!!! It is a long term sub position for a teacher going on maternity leave. She plans to be back mid January, but of course it's all tentative since the baby could come earlier or later. I'm meeting with her on Sunday for the first time to go over some things. When I talked to her on the phone, she sounded just as anxious to talk to me as I was to talk to her. I'm so VERY excited!!!!

Nancy (who also works in the same district :) took me out for drinks to celebrate! We had a fabulous time and uuber yummy raspberry lemon drop martinis!....and yes, martinis is plural for a reason...hahahaha!

Well, it sounds like it's my turn for the shower. We are headed for the North Country Fair and I'm running behind schedule! Colton had a doctor appointment, so I'll have to blog about that later, but he weighs 24lbs 6oz and is 30.5 inches long!

Ooooo, this is my 666 post...creepy!

So many things have been going on each weekend and I have so many pictures to upload that I have blogger's block! Well, we've been camping, to a wedding, a joint birthday party, and a teaching interview. I have a job!!!! But, it is yet to be determined what grade and where it is yet. I'm hoping to know ANY MINUTE NOW!!!!! It's driving me crazy! I need to start planning, but I don't know what to plan yet. I'm on the edge of my seat just itching to get a jump on things!

I've also been baking way too much. I think I've probably gained a good 10 pounds in the last several months. And today was no help. I made chocolate croissants AND a blackberry pie. I also really want to make smores cupcakes that Dennis sent me a link to.

All this, and I have a TON of caffeine pulsing through me! I think I need to go for a walk when Colton wakes up!....can you see all my exclamations?!
