Such a Bummer
It's been a depressing 24 hours. I did not get a teaching job in either Ferndale or Yreka. This really sucks. Yes, everything happens for a reason....but right now, I can't (or don't want to) see the light at the end of the tunnel just yet. Maybe in a day or so, but not right now. It's just so very sad. I just don't know what to do now. I was really hoping to be planning for a classroom right about now. Utterly bummed out.

Its been hard for teachers. My sister in law just found out yesterday that her position as teachers aid was cut. Its sad that cuts are happening in such an important area. This affects all of our lives. Not to sound cheesy, but, the children really are our future.
Keep your head up, doors will open.
Oh, Cindy...I won't say that everything happens for a reason because I know that I hate hearing that when, sometimes, things just seem to be crappy. All I can say is that it is definitely their loss. I'll keep all my great-job-prospect vibes coming your way. :) Bryn
